In conjunction with the new exhibition Where Ideas Come From: Dalí's Drawings, this month’s talk will feature Dr. Kimberly Macuare, director of programming and co-director of the Innovation Labs, who will offer an examination of Dali's creative process. During the talk, we will see how Dalí created and sustained a practice that led to not only prolific production but also to some of the most innovative art of the modern era.

Coffee with a Curator Aug 2: Preserving the Past: The Role of Conservation
In conjunction with the new exhibition Where Ideas Come From: Dalí’s Drawings, this month’s talk will feature Sonja Jordan-Mowery, conservator, who will discuss her work as a conservator, including the challenges presented in conserving works on paper and an overview of the work she performed on some of the works now on view in the special exhibit. This talk offers a behind-the-scenes view of this important practice.
